They are cool. Trying to get any information on them, plan on makeing a tow truck out of the green one keeping it as is but would it be worth it to keep it original and try to restore it and the engines are they diesel. I can't find any military coe anywhere. Had a 228 GMC engine. Updraft carb, easy to replace 228 with 302, same block, depends how original one wants to be. Probable geared really low, would be great for shows. Probable I synchro 4 speed, 2 speeds transfer case. Timken axles, low ratio.
'37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires.
'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

There are some nut jobs running around *this* site with 5 and 10-ton trucks  (Not naming names but we're both named John ...)
