I'm not too sure I'm putting my pedal assembly together correctly. This would be for a '54. Can someone point me to a picture or description of what goes where? Thanks.

I found a picture here:http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/manuals/47asit/47asit25.html

I would guess it goes together first putting on a spacer, clutch pedal, spacer, then the spring between the 2 cups, and finally the securing clip.

Seems odd that the clutch pedal does not have a grease fitting like the brake pedal.

It seemed odd to me at first as well. I quickly realized that the flat on the pivot shaft allows grease to "travel" the entire length of the shaft thereby lubricating both brake and clutch arms/pivots.

Oh, OK. Then I must be wrong about one of the spacers going between the pedals. They must go on the outboard of the 2 pedals?

The spacers go around the brake pedal. The flat on the shaft does not go all the way to the bracket so can't go between the bracket and the clutch pedal. Found excellent pictures of it on DADS50 photos. There was even a schematic! At least this is now updated in case someone runs across it.
