WHEN INSTALLING THE FRONT FENDERS ON A 1951 IS IT NECESSARY TO PRE-INSTALL TO THE INNER FENDERS AND INSTALL BOTH TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME?

Ken, I agree with you. But I advise one word of caution (at least in my case) while your hanging the outer fenders leave the bolts loose before you install the grill ... it can be a b*tch. I put two pieces of heavy waxed paper between the grill and the fenders to help it slide into place. It helped a bit but it was still a tough thing to pull off.
