I had this problem on the Goldwing and there was a plug and play fix for it. Seems like it had something to do with ground.

No more whining.
I know it won't work in the big city though. I tried that with my first Sirius radio. There aren't any empty channels to use there.
It should get me to KC just fine and I can use Ipod and CDs if it won't work there.
