I put a Sirius radio in the '56 and it has some serious noise, I assume from the alternator but may be the HEI. I had this problem on the Goldwing and there was a plug and play fix for it. Seems like it had something to do with ground.

I need a fix for the '56.

I would suggest sending an Email to Gary Tayman. He is a sponsor here and I think he may have some advice. He is a good guy.

OK, it's a ground loop isolator and I found them on the web but having no luck locally.

Today I tried the FM signal for the Sirius and it works great out in the country. No more whining.

I know it won't work in the big city though. I tried that with my first Sirius radio. There aren't any empty channels to use there.

It should get me to KC just fine and I can use Ipod and CDs if it won't work there.

Thanks for the replies.
