Just acquired a 51 4 speed and would like to swap it in for the floor shift. Are the clutch parts the same or will I have to change the clutch also? As far as I can see they are both 10" discs, same splines etc.

You could use the 54 3!00 flywheel and clutch assembly with the 51 4-speed. You would use the 54 clutch housing.
