I was under the impression the body I was buying came with a title. Now the owner says he doesn't have one. I am putting a '50 body on a '49 frame with very little original.
How do I get a title from MN and what am I looking at spending for it?

I personally don't trust hearsay, even the SEMA links Joe posted because laws can change quickly and web pages like those can be out of date. In Kansas your licensing costs would likely be less than $200 not counting any sales taxes. The costs for phone calls, postage and fuel for hauling the truck for inspection would add a bit.
