Body man says its cheaper to buy all new repro than fix what's there...Jim Carter? Chevy Duty? American Classic Truck? Any difference in product? ACT and CD are a lot cheaper than Jim Carter..should I fear quality will be inferior?

So for that particular part, all should have the same quality. The tooling was just done last year. So far heard no info about quality, anybody bought these?
Most repro fenders are fiberglass...bleccch.

All the suppliers have the fenders from this one guy. No difference in quality between retailers [ only price ]. I have heard of 2 people now who have bought them & complained that the gauge thickness of them was like a " beer can " & resold them & went with restored original fenders.

I just picked up two rear fenders for my '50 from the Truck Shop at the Hot August Nights swap meet in Reno. They're in Orange County, but they go to lots of swap meets. I paid $300 each (their catalog price is $365), plus saved shipping cost.
