Hi guys, for my 235 fitted 49 3100 i have a new set of gauges to replace the horrible modern ones the PO fitted but not sure where to connect. For the oil sender they have fitted a modern electronic sensor - anyone know where i can get an original connector to fit the stock brass/copper hose connector?

where does the water sensor connect? i have a large (1") brass threaded adapter at the back drivers side of cylinder head currently with an electrical sensor fitted - if it goes in there does anyone know where i can buy the right adapter to take the threaded hole in the cyl head to stock capillary tube sensor? or does it go on the outlet manifold?

ADDED: I searched some more and found the water temp sender adapter online http://www.classicparts.com/1941-54...Bushing/productinfo/24-811/#.U_FHIsV_tA1

still looking for the oil sender adapter - can anyone help there?

The stock oil pressure gauge is mechanical, it doesn't actually have a "sender" like the aftermarket gauges do. What it does have is a 1/8" capillary tube that runs from the engine to the gauge itself. The engine end of the tube connects to the same port that the optional oil filter connects to. If you have the filter, you will need to add a "T" fitting to the line.

hey mike... I might have an extra water sender adapter out in the shop. Give me a day or two and I'll take a look next time I get out there
