- AJ | | | | | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 44 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 44 | Chevy made a stainless washboard trim for the lower part of the back fender for a 1941 chevy. They are approx 8 inches wide and wrap around the fender about 12 inches from the bottom. I bought a reproduction pair off of E-bay for about $125 some time back, and I still see them up for auction from time to time. Contact chevsofthe40s.com as they used to carry this item also.
