There is a pretty large gap on the driver's side between the hood and the fender right in front of where the cab ends. It's almost large enough where I can stick my pinky through, then the gap gets good towards the front of the hood. The passenger's side is good. I can't make the hood go down any further and the fender won't go up any more in the rear. Anyone have any tips?

| | | | | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 259 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 259 | Have you tried loosening the back hinge where it attaches to the cab and move it down? Don't forget the hinge to cab bolt on the inside of the cab.
Have you tried removing the hood tension spring and seeing if that helps with the gap. You might just need to lower that spring as well.
