Checked tanksinc.com they seem to have the items my issue now is finding someone who has been down this road and will share some knowledge on doing this on a 3100 trk. My cross member I put in for the coil overs on the 4 link rear has left me with an opening of 14-15 inches. I need 17 3/4 in for the tank plus some room for attaching the tank. Does moving the rear cross member cause any major issues?? Any hot tips on line configuration or which regulators and pumps to use etc?? Would just like to avoid any mistakes from someone who has done this. Engine is LS1 5.3 from a 05 Tahoe stock non modified. Thanks for any help!

Don't know if this is helpful but I'll throw it out there...'99-'04 Corvettes(w/LS 1) use a pricey fuel filter with a built in regulator/return meaning only one line needs to be run to the engine.

Vette crazy I think we may have talked before, but anyway I have the exact setup, ls-1 in my 51 3100. I used the stainless tank from tanks inc.. I did move the rear cross-member back. But before I did I had someone weld in a rear brace. Also on my bolt in 4link I had the shock mount welded in for a little extra support.I did not use the Vette filter like most others, it will save you on fuel line if you do. I ran braided line to and from my fuel rails.

Corvette filter regulator works great. I used one in my 96 Blazer 5.3 conversion and my 68 C20 conversion . Both with 2005 5.3 engines. I used a Boydes welding aluminum tank in the 68 with intank pump. On the Blazer just used stock tank and pump. Hard lines along frame with stainless braided connecting to tank and filter reg, and to the engine fuel rail. Put the filter regulator close to tank and have short run of return line. Good luck with yours. Jim

I had planned to use the Corvette part to save on running extra line if it would work OK. Just seemed a little simpler maybe.

Anyone got any available pics? Thks, Don

Thought I would throw it out here. If your looking for ideas? and you think about redundancy [cost vs/ hassle] here's one that can save a hassle: a trail rig set-up uses 2 in tank fuel pumps. if one goes out, switch a wire to the second pump and keep on going.

Hi; I have a 53 Panel with LS1. I used a tank from Ric's Hotrods in the rear. Brackets on the tank are welded on so they much up with cross member of four link (welded on brackets). Slid the big cross member back and use it to mount the rear of the tank.
My problem is now that there is little room for exhaust to go. The tank has the fuel pump and I have
made a hole in the floor for getting at it. Hope that helps.

I ran my exhaust out of the side, before the rear tire. It has a small opening in the running board.that let's the exhaust exit. The tips are the same height as the running boards, makes it look neater.

I got a set up from tanks--got the mtg in at the rear where spare was. Putting side mtg spare on the trk. Haven't got the lines run just got to that point. As with many others I got side tracked on another issue that came up on another car. Hope to get back to this when weather warms up. Mother-in-law got hit at a stop light so got it to fix--list goes on and on--LOL
