I need a full set of inner/outer fenders for my '53 Chevy 6400 and have found a set of NOS GMC fenders. Except for the GMC parking lights in the front, are there any other differeces between the GMC and Chevy sheetmetal? The grill area is tha only place I can imagine there being any differences. Please let me know if you know for sure these are interchangeable. Don't want to be the proud owner of a set of GMC fenders that I can't use! Thanks!

53 Dumpy,
I know of a guy in Mt Vernon Ill who is thinking about parting out a 2 ton 49. I'm trying to buy the cab. It's suppost to be a good truck. I talked to him at a swapmeet. His name is Ross Bird, 618-735-2336. Good luck.
