Wired up a 7 wire signal with mostly good results. To the original harness I added dual sockets to the front running lamps with the brighter filament hooked for turning. Cut the feed from the brake switch to rear lamps to hook to signal. Also cut the brake line at the rear and ran a separate line for the right. Everything is color connected and makes sense to me.

Issues are:
right turn = both fronts blinking
With lights on: both fronts blinking
parking lights on: front blinkers don't work. right rear stays on, left rear nothing.

Somewhat confused since nothing is hooked to the light switch with the turn signals circuit. Or why would there be circuit crossing between the brake/turn and headlight/parking circuits? I suppose a grounding issue somewhere.

the lights are connected to the light switch wink you must have some wires in the wrong place so the turn switch is feeding thru the light circuit

"dual sockets" in the front lamps or dual filament bulbs? separate wires to the front lights all the way from the signal unit? if the tail lights aren't working properly [with light sw in parking light position] you must not have done the tail wiring right so the park light circuit is tied in to the signals somehow .... did you use the tech tip to check over the wiring?

I'd say grounding problem. Power going to the signal lamp filament can't find a ground there so it travels through the park light filament, back through circuit to the other park lamp.

Ah, I investigated the right front signal light. Apparently the dual contact socket was making contact with the other side due to a little copper wire thread I had cut off. No issues now!

Red58, I converted the single contact socket to dual and ran new lines for the extra contact directly to the turn signal. I found some amber 6 volt bulbs to use in them.
