What is the secret to getting the parking/turn light to fit in a after market grill? The light bucket fits but I can not get the chrome frame to fit. It hits the upper bar and the bar below it so it will not hold the glass in. Do I move the mounting holes forward or what? 53 3100 root

The key phrase is "after market". Most repop parts are Chinese junk that at best only resemble the OEM parts they replace. Even though it costs more my preference is to rechrome an OEM part.
