Has any one installed a mid 90's crown vic ifs suspension in there advanced design truck. Would love to know if its good, bad or just go with the mustang two ifs. I recently accuired a 95 crown vic for free. I have the complete car for all its parts and suspension. Any info greatly appreciated

I don't personally know anyone that has done this, but the guys at Gas Monkey Garage put one under an old Dodge truck. Seemed like it fit just fine on the frame. Having worked with them on the stock application, that front end is very easy to service, handles well, and should work very nicely under an AD truck. It will certainly outperform any M2/Pinto based frontend. You will want to go through it, replace balljoints/tierods/sway bar links, as they are not serviceable factory and tend to wear.

I have seen one in place on a truck that isn't running and could probably get the guy's email address if you'd like. I am sure he has pictures. I was surprised how well it fit the frame and looked but, like any ifs swap (that I have seen so far), it doesn't look like a precise swap.

Yeah that would be great if you could get me that address. Would be interesting to know what I'm up against for the swap. Thanks again!
