For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 2 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 2 | I have a 1987 Gmc General single axle truck with 63,000 origional miles that I am thinking about selling. I'm trying to get a handle on the value of this truck. Is it old enough to be of interest to collectors or is it just another used truck. I am a Chevrolet GMC truck collector. Trucks of all sizes, I own a 1986 GMC General tandem, GMC stopped making class 8 trucks in the late 80s which I think would make the last versions of these trucks collectable to those whose main interest is GMC. If you advertise the truck for sale make sure to include which engine and transmission it has, and also what it was used for, wheelbase may also be something people would want to know, hope that helps. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 942 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 942 | Pretty much as already mentioned, it is somewhat collectable, but Engine Size, type, Trans type, Wheel Base as well as condition will all play into what it's worth.
Wouldn't mind seeing a picture of it though.
