For two years I have been running turbos, stainless exhaust, off of Fentons on a 235. They have a good guarantee from the manufacturer but for sure are not extremely loud. Smitty's or the old seamless cherry bomb-type mufflers would probably be louder. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 384 | I want it quiet as possible. What would you recommend for me? Thanks - Scott

I've ran of lot of split manifolds and this sounds the best ever--kinda like the Jaguar 120's or 140's--but I guess you're too young for that analogy. Anyway--it's a very low rumble and I love it! DON'T run cherry bombs! Leave those for the insecure that need attention. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 275 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 275 | scdascda
Try the turbos for a comparatively quiet exhaust or check with your local muffler shop for suggestions. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,745 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 1,745 | Oh man that sounds good. I have the Mike Yoder manifold and next week the Smithy 26 inchers should finally go on. Smitty62's description makes me even more anxious to hear it.
