Vehicle is a 52 PU, new 12 volt system, 100 amp one wire alt, everything else is fine. headlite switch is a chevy duty 12 volt PN 53-156. Is it the switch, I'm about to buy another switch.

| | | | | Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 603 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 603 | Sometimes a bad dimmer switch will cause this. I would bench test the headlamp switch, before buying one. Apply power to it and use a test light.

Pulled the switch down, on the back of the switch was a relay, the bottom nut had worked loose not allowing good contact. Tightened everything up, works now. Thanks for everyone's input.
