For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 85 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2005 Posts: 85 | Hi,
I just put a 350 in my 56 Chevy pickup, connected to the stock SM420 trans. So, it is in the factory location and has a factory (repop) 1956 V8 thermostat housing. I am reusing the 235 radiator so the original v8 hoses will be too short. Can anyone give me P/Ns for molded hoses that can be made to fit? Thx. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 | Mock one up and go to your flaps.
They will (usually)let you paw through rack of hoses. Find a hose that has a section you can cut out to make what you want. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,233 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,233 | Welcome to the Stovebolt I have the same set up in my '56 3100 and I used the following hoses... NAPA 7240 Upper (has one 45 degree bend, will need to be trimmed to length).
