This is a dumb question but how do you hook up the lighter? Is it just the one wire that screws on the back and thats it? Just want to make sure. Thanks guys

yes, the hot wire to the center pin, usually requires a special connector cuz it's deeply inset - the case is the ground to the dash

The lighter base you have is a standard replacement for any car/truck.
You need the following connector which was made for this type hook up (threaded screw). It just pushes on and will not fall off. It is insulated and is the eaisest connector I have ever used.
It is AIRTEX Part # 1P1063
You can get it from O'Reilly Auto Parts
