Im trying to figure out how the cowl vent handle attaches to the actual cowl vent.
16.130 handle attaches to the dash - got it 16.135 link - this is where i am confused two questions does the link bolt to the handle? it sort of is a pressed fit with teeth to keep it from slipping, but probably needs a bolt to hold it together
but most importantly, how does the link attach to the actual vent? the exploded view manual doesnt specify.
any help is most appreciated | | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 | | | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 | is there a bracket that mounts to the actual cowl vent? there seems to be two threaded holes in the vent on each end. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 | I think I figured it out, there is a broken bracket on the vent itself. see additional picture I added to the album. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 | im going to just make a new bracket with a 90 degree bend, and attach it with panel bond. | | |
