Think this is ok to use with a hvlp spray gun? I just want to paint primer/sealer and mabe a few small parts like the bumper and grill.

Any HVLP gun worth it's salt will require 8-10 cfm and many require more than that. Your compressor will run constantly to try and keep up, generating more heat and moisture......bad stuff. Better look around for something bigger, much bigger if you plan to do much painting.
