Got a floor kit disc/disc brake pedal assy from Pirate Jack--fittings on master cylinder are std thread type. My brakes are late model so they are metric thread at each caliper. I need adapters std to the proportion valve with metric out or what are my options--?? Thanks for any help! Trk is 51 3100--

Hy vettecrazy, there are adapters made to turn metric 10-1.0mm into standard 3/16" inverted flare, is the flare seat on the calipers inverted flare or bubble flare?

Brakequip is an excellent source for brake plumbing parts and weird adapters. I'd be real surprised if they don't have a solution.

A better alternative to adapter fittings, if all you need is a metric fitting at one end of the line, would be to flare it for the metric style flare. 3/16 is the same as 4mm. You'll need a bubble flare kit, but they're actually easier to make than the standard double flare, it's all done in one operation.

I am assuming that you have a dual master. If that is the case then you will need to have a valve block that in part, gives you a brake failure indication. Some come with multiple adapters that have a pipe thread into the block. I put a proportioning valve on my rear brakes and this is how it was fitted.

Bill's suggestion of different sorts of flare on each end of a brake line you already need is a great solution. assuming that it can be done given your existing components.

Thanks for the suggestions, my flex line has a banjo bolt to the caliper and the other end has a std size which I found. Its a 7/16 24 for 3/16 line and NAPA store had those just cut and reflare. The rear axle had lines and fittings left on it and I can find the parts to make all that work. Problem now is finding line clamps to secure the lines to the frame and I would like to find a supplier for those welded on brackets that secures the hose assy to the frame. The original ones on the frame were not in great shape.
