For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 187 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 187 | Hi gang,
Does anyone know what the original factory color is for the interior of a 1964 Chevy cab?
Thanks, in advance!! | | | | | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 6 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 6 | I have done a little studying on this myself for my 65. It appears the most widely-used color was called "Fawn", which I believe is sort of a beigh, or tannish-brown. I know that's not very descriptive, but in my mind I imagine the color of a deer's coat. There were also a couple of other colors used. Maybe you can find some color chips at a body shop and one will be "Fawn". Good Luck.

I have found the actual paint chip for my truck paint code on autocolorlibrary.com but they don't have any interior colors   . I'll try the local paint store for some color chips and match it the best I can...although it would have been nice to get the original color or paint code for authenticity purposes...
