hey guys while digging through some of my stuff I found a little door trim piece.( it fits on the outer, top, front edge of the door.) right over the vent window of my 51, kinda fits in the corner then extends back a little ways? it looks like a little "wind guard" or deflector of some type.it has three mounting tabs that would screw into the inner side of door.I think it looks cool but I only have the drivers side.does anyone know what it is called or where I can get one?It is not the long one that extends the length of the door.

Ventipane rain deflector?

found them at the car / truck shop out of orange county.

The deflectors re visible in this photo. Sealant is used between the deflector and the window frame. Recessed flat head screws are used (forget size, but probably #6).

hopefully you are still monitoring this thread. I installed the rain deflector on DS door, and there is a gap that ranges from 1/16 (which according to the factory assembly manual is normal) to 3/16", which seems too large to fill with sealing compound. Any help / suggestions would be most welcome.
