Hi all, Im hoping to gain some advice for lowereing my truck. Im on a tight budget, and there are high shipping costs to the UK. I know sids dropped axles is very popular, but am wondering whether anyone has used speedway 3" lowered front leaf springs along with TCI (from speedway) rear lowering springs and shocks kit. I need new springs anyway so if i can get decent lowered springs it saves on buying a dropped axle as well. Any views appreciated.

Have you considered looking on ebay (or elsewhere), then have it shipped to sids so that you are only paying one big shipment overseas? Just a thought.

I debated on lowering springs for the front of my 51 3100, but i had very limited room between the spring and the bumper. I figured that would not allow the spring to bend without bottoming out.

For the back, i am guessing you can find some used springs and then just pay the few bucks for bigger ubolts and blocks to lower the back if you wanted to save money. I pulled a few leaves out of the rear to give it more drop then just 3" when used with the blocks.
