Hello All,

I'm looking to purchase a 302. The engine is several hundred miles from me so I can only check pictures of it. I need help with a block number. The block and intake manifold have the number 2194009. Also the engine has a air compressor attached on the passenger front. The engine has a huge generator on the driver side. I really want to find a 302. But, I'd really like to findout more about this engine (which runs good)before I make the drive. Thank you for the help

There is a great deal of info on this forum about casting numbers, etc. I'm struggling because I can't find the number 2194009 in any of the information. Could the guy have misread it? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

A 302 should have 302 stamped on the serial number pad.

I think he misread the casting number by a bunch. Inliners International's casting number chart lists a 2193980 and a 2192402 for 302s.

My 302 engine has the intake casting # 2194009 and block casting # of 2198980 which makes it a 302 from 52 to 54. By the way, I am looking for an intake manifold for my engine. Any leads?
