I got a 1950 3800 series truck that I have almost finished. It had some big old home made trailer hitch on the rear without no bumper which I scraped. I ordered a rear bumper and brackets but they don't fit. The frame rails are 35 and 1/2 inches wide. Where can I get the brackets and do they even make them ?

The 3800 would use the same brackets and bumper as the 3600 trucks. The rear frame section is narrower than that of the 3100 trucks.

If you are interested, I will sell you a bumper and the brackets. A PM to me would get you details. Jerry

These sorts of wanted to buy and trying to sell discussions belong in the swap meet section.

Next time please post for sale items in the swap meet section or send a PM about them.

Yes the original question was OK asking where to look and what to look for, and the original reply is a good/appropriate one.

Thanks,
Grigg
