Great Lakes Gabfest -- July 27, 2014 is just ½ mile from I-94 between Milwaukee and Chicago.

We will be joining the "10th Annual 'Classic Cruise to Church'” for the show ... and we need to bring in some trucks!!

The Car Show provides each driver one voucher for lunch. Burgers, Brats, Chips and Soda all available for purchase onsite for a dollar or two each.

This is the first year me and my ‘Bolt, Clyde, will be attending the show! I thought it appropriate to invite some other Stovebolts from around the area to bring, drive, haul, or push their truck to this GABfest.

  • Truck not running? That’s ok – neither is Clyde. Tow ‘em in! We have plenty of room.
  • In the area without your truck? Bring yourself and just gab with other Bolters and wrenchers!
  • Want to come in Saturday and camp? Let me know and I’ll keep the fire-pit on for you!

More information and directions see the flyer here.

And remember the date: Sunday July 27th from 9am – 2pm.

So, who is coming? We hear those Bolters are a hungry lot ... so we want to have plenty of food!

We trailered ol' Clyde over for the show on Sunday and had a blast!

Even though the weather man was predicting rain we ended up with just over 80 cars! There was one other modified art-deco stovebolt, but I never found the owner to chat with them.

It was amazing watching my daughter educate all of this cars guys on Clyde's history and to see lil' kids enjoy climbing inside the truck.

Not a bad way to spend a Bday!

Here are pictures of the event: Here
