Being over 65 and having many CRAFT moments has put me in a bind. I disassembled me 51's seat and seat back to clean out he rust and repaint before covering. The seat was not too bad, but the back has me stumped. I didn't notice that there were different spring heights and tensions when I took it apart and now don't know how to assemble it. Anyone have a diagram of the different spring locations?
Thanks

Bucketlist,

I am not sure about AD trucks, but deco truck seat backs have different coil heights (and number of coils per spring)for each horizontal row. The bottom row has the tallest coils, and they progressively get shorter moving upward.

I searched the internet for an image of seat springs for a AD truck, and could not find one.

Hope this helps.

Paul

Here is one image I previously made. This is from my '50. All the coils are the same height.
