What year truck?
Do you still have the original-style brakes for that year?
How did you adjust the rear brake shoes (what were the steps in your procedure)?
Did you adjust them as described in the Shop Manual (if you have original-style brakes)?
What is "one turn"? One click, or one full rotation of the adjuster?
| | | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 50 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 50 | ONE full rotation move adjuster out 0.050.adjust front shoe until light drag on shoes,then back off one rotation .Then adjust rear shoes until light on shoes.Than re adjust front shoes.Have original style brake.As i drove truck short trip would feel rim to check for heat.This time want about fifteen mile. | | |
