Pulled the crusty Carter W off the 235 last week, the carb spacer came off during cleaning, but part of it cracked and broke off, so I'll need to order up a new one.

I see on ebay, and in LMC's catalog- spacers for a 216, and one for a 235, but nobody lists the bore diameter

My carbs have a 1 1/2" diameter bore, and the manifold and the old spacer bores are 1 5/8" diameter.

can anyone tell me which spacer I should order to get that 1 5/8" diameter?

I'm guessing from the bore sizes my carbs are from a 216, and the manifold is a 235 manifold?

Thanks!
Ben

The distance between the manifold to carb mounting studs is important. Info on this page may help: lower right corner https://www.fillingstation.com/catalog/flippingbook/index.html#332/z

Their site gave exactly what i needed.

The spacer is the larger 235 one.
My engine must have a 235 intake manifold. The carb has had the holes elongated on it.

Thanks!

LMC is usually quite helpful. When in doubt, send them an email with your question. They've measured parts for me before.
