On the TF trucks, is there any need to glue in between the push pins on the door weather stripping?
I know they need special attention at the corners and curves. Thanks.

Wayne.

only useful to glue around the dogleg, and you really need to use the proper metal retainer strip on the bottom - there were also originally metal clips in a few corner places that are good to have

Bill, there were 3 original retaining clips on the door. They were in the curves near the latch.
This is an LCF and there are push pin holes across the bottom. Did not see a metal retainer.
But there is only about a foot of "bottom edge" because of the big cut out for the wheels.

yes, the pegs are still used on the bottom, don't know if the LCF had the retainer, but you might look for small screw holes toward each end of the bottom for an indication of it, on the regular doors it really is helpful because of the constant working of the seal with the open/close action of the doors, especially in freezing weather when the rubber can sometimes stick to the step from moisture there freezing - I think without a retainer, it'd be good to glue across the bottom

Ok, I will look for evidence of ever having one. If not, maybe fabricate something just for good measure.
Thanks for all the help.
This is a first for me. I have restored a bunch of old cars and tractors. But I always took the glass work and weather stripping to someone else.
