I have had issues with the brake pedal going to the floor. There was no sign of leakage and the brakes needed adjusting. All seemed OK until today I noticed the left rear brake hanging up. It was really hot and when I went to move the truck, it made a heck of a sound. I thought maybe it was the hand brake, but everything there was free. After some tinkering around with it, the brake seemed to release and I was able to drive home. My first thought was to pull the drum and inspect the mechanism inside, but I remembered that there appears tp be a dent in the steel line to the rear of the truck. Could this have anything to do with it? Possibly both problems? A line that is crushed could restrict fluid flow. | | |
