Is this intentional or is it just stuck and I need to free it up?I tapped it with a screwdriver handle and gave it a small tug with pliers but it doesn't budge. I sprayed it with carb cleaner and let it soak. It should pull out of the bore it is in, try not to bend the shaft as you attempt to remove it, it must line up with the valve it activates once installed, good luck with the removal. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,747 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,747 | Those things can stick good. I was able to gently tap mine and used an oil to un-stick it. When I had it out I used some 600 grit sand paper and my drill to polish it. Some times it just takes time.

Cleaned up the bore with a brass brush from a gun cleaning kit.---Thanks,I didn't want to break this carburetor.---Jack | | |
