I noticed on my wood floor boards there are no short braces between the wheel wells. BUT there are bolts that go through the top hold down strips but just bolt up beneath the wood underneath. Is the correct? Would it be wise to make 2 short metal braces like the long one that doesn't bolt to the frame anywhere just the wood. Make two like that to put inbetween the wheel wells? for extra strength and keep the boards from dipping down in the middle if there is weight on them? Or would it not help it from doing that at all? Thanks for your comments. smile

The bolts that are hanging out in space. They just get a large flat washer on the back. You could make a bracket, but it might hold the wood too tight. You could end up with split boards.

if it dosen't need fixed, break it
