So what would ya'll suggest me do from here. Would this be a good application for undercoating. Do I need to treat the metal with anykind of rust preventative. This is my first one to do so i've got your typical questions. Lots of discussion here on this board and a search of the archives will get you lots of good info. Personally, I used a self etch primer over the sandblasted metal then a satin black enamel finish. If I were doing it again I would strongly consider powder coating the frame. Stuff holds up well and cost is comparable if not less than painting. Lots of guys use and recommend POR-15. I'm not sure about putting it on sandblasted metal. Just my input.
