This got me thinking about how and old truck might have reliability issues on an extended drive and what tools would be the best to have on board for emergency repairs.
So, If you were to take your vintage truck on a road trip what tools would you bring besides a cell phone and AAA... (Again, maybe I'm crazy, but back in the 40's some one took long road trips in these things right?)

Spare Parts: I carry a spare distributor with points adjusted and a spare fan belt. I'm not sure what you mean by your question. All I considered was my engine. It is computer controlled and doesn't require points and such. That's why I didn't mention those items.
