At that time it was just a cab & chassis. I'm now redoing the truck and I'm wanting to consider an up-to-date frame for this truck as I'm planning to make it a stock 1/2 ton in appearance, but with modern running gear & suspension, etc. for more of an everyday driver in the good-weather seasons. My question is, what is the correct wheelbase and track width for the '41-46 style 1/2 ton trucks with the short bed? I'm told that the Chevy S-10 long wheelbase frame is very close but haven't been able to get that confirmed.
