| | | | Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 56 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 56 | Will a 1951 GMC 302 bolt in place of a 1937 Chevrolet 216? I have complete vehicles for both engines. I plan on using the stock 3 speed that is in the 1940.
I would assume the front motor mounts will have to be lifted from the '51 and fabed into the '37?

than the Chevy. We put them into passenger cars way back when
I was in high school but that was fifty 55 years ago and I
don't recall all the details.
Charlie will be along I'm sure he's the GMC guru and he'll have
all the answers for you.

You will also have issues with the radiator to fan clearance to work out.
