They call it a lock 358829# it hold crank or bracket on shaft,which shifted rod goes to from shiftier box to bracket. Than rod go to 2nd/3rd gear.want to put bronze bushing in wore holes .

1950 3100 Chevy tram F300 591615# 5Gm .look like flat washer.But one end of washer is a ribbon like end or wave like. this hold bracket on shaft. there a spring between bracket an lock washer for better word The end of end of shaft is groove. Thank

see fig 2 here, use some words from that picture, what area are you asking about, sounds like maybe the bell crank? looking for a keeper for some part of that?

that's the part....... bell crank,
it the keeper on end.I'am trying to remove. guess i could replace with a c clip.I'am putting bronze bushing worn hole
