I would like to use the stock park brake pedal and install my parking brakes. I have 4 wheel disk brakes as of now. I know that lockar sells braking kits etc... Has anyone done this and if so any pics of brake line routing and necc. hardware? 51 chevy 3100 pickup.

I used the Lokar kit on mine with a Gen-3 Firebird axle,the main problem I encountered was the left caliper,strangely my axle has one leading and one trailing.....
The passenger side is a straight shot at the caliper but on the left side I had to go up and over the axle to reach the left brake. Sorry,I don't have any clear pics though.
There's plenty of cable and conduit supplied to get the job done.
It's a good comprehensive kit,the only extras I used were stainless 'P' clips to route the left side over the axle.
Just remember "measure twice cut once!"

I cocked up one side and got a cable made at the local yacht chandlers,only problem there is I used stainless cable with the mild steel conduit which is not a not a good mix,I've since had a small problem of that side seizing,although that shouldn't be a problem if you use the correctly supplied cable....

I did the same on my Suburban, 4 wheel disks. Not much in pictures, though. Parking brake is stock back to the Lokar cables.
