My oil dipstick tube has worked it's way free from my engine. When I try to pull my dipstick out the tube comes with it. Has anyone had this issue? Any ideas on a fix? Would something like thread locker work or will the heat melt it?
Thanks in advance | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | If you GENTLY squeeze the engine end to slightly egg shape it will fit tighter. Engine heat won't bother thread locker or if in doubt use sleeve locker.
