Hello all,

My oil dipstick tube has worked it's way free from my engine. When I try to pull my dipstick out the tube comes with it. Has anyone had this issue? Any ideas on a fix? Would something like thread locker work or will the heat melt it?

Thanks in advance

If you GENTLY squeeze the engine end to slightly egg shape it will fit tighter. Engine heat won't bother thread locker or if in doubt use sleeve locker.

Evan,

Thanks a lot, I will definitely try it out.

I never even knew there was a sleeve locker.
