| | | | | Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 87 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2008 Posts: 87 | The s10 frame swappers are out there etc. But you got to find a donor frame without frame damage etc. Then pay for it plus other incidentals. Dont get me wrong ive considered the frame swap advantage and have a 40 henry truck sitting on a nonforty frame but.....if you have the stock frame FREE and can upgrade it to v8 ....box the rails. Disk brake conversion .... cheaper. And know itll all fits? Versus modifying something to make it fit? I seen lots if ambition tackling these frame swaps that run out of steam. When it mught be far easier to use what works and just update it. I support you either way.

But ive realized it takes less work to improve what works than try to make two things go together that may show you ur wrong. Another project i have is a 1935 henry pickup that i set on an s10 frame that will have to be butchered in the cab corners and fenders to sit right. An people will do that to make them work. But im not. Itll look bad underneathe the cab and ill kno~ just my opinion.
