I've got some rust through above the headlight on my 57's right fender. See picture. Fender already needs a fender tip patch and probably the brace, but I'd hate to buy another patch panel for this.
I'm looking for some suggestions on how to put a homemade patch in. I'm also not experienced at forming metal, but would it be best to cut into the good metal above or below the rust?
