my 54 is Ocean Green on the outside and Pearl tan on the inside but there is confusion about what color the edges of the door is supposed to be. The cab jamb is green. do i have a tan door edge against the green cab jamb?

Gary U,

You might want to post some good photos of the paint transition from Ocean Green to Pearl Beige in/near your door "cab jamb".

The door jamb was painted the interior color - to the point where the exterior sheet metal (and exterior color) ends over the interior metal.

The exterior door paint ends at the edge of the exterior sheet metal (it "wraps" over the interior door panel which is painted the interior color).

I don't have a photo to show as I am trying to figure out what it was originally and paint it that way. I have search for original photos but cannot find anything and I see no consistency with what others have done

Not the best photos, but you can see the paint transition point in this photo and this photo
