OK so I was at a Cruise-In recently when some one pointed out to me that the emblems on my 57 3100 were installed backwards. Does the wording (3100 face to the cab or face forward toward headlight) I have seen the side spears installed each way. What is correct.? I am also looking for some painted hubcabs for the 57 any ideas where to locate them all I can find on line are chrome? Were they ever painted.

Thanks, Steve

I don't know the answers to your questions, but you might look at some of the 57's in the gallery and see how those are installed.

Hy Wolfman28, the correct installation of the 1957 spear is with the numbers towards the cab. As for the hubcaps why not place an ad in the parts wanted forum, hope that helps.

I found my hubcaps on Ebay and I have bought other parts from members of the forum. Good luck.
