I saw this in our Farm Life (Massey Ferguson) magazine and wondered if it would be of interest to you.

This is the link for the Farm Life magazine. The article about "Tough as Nails Paint" starts on page 11. You'll "flip" through the magazine pages.

Again, I thought it was pretty interesting especially the part where they talk about abundant sunshine being hard on paint. "It starts to fade the minute you park it outside." So, there's a new facility in Kansas ...

Well, go read the article. You all can tell us if it's of any use.

I live just a few blocks away from the factory. Nearly everyone in town works there if they aren't in business supporting the town. Good company started by a few local engineers just a few generations ago. Interesting the things you don't know so close by.

CASO, I can scan the article and email it to you. Want me to do that?

Deve, that's pretty cool. The article made it sound like that are a smart outfit.

The pages worked for me. Interesting but not something I'll have done to my truck or be doing at home. Hopefully no more faded ugly farm equipment.

Thanks for sending that Peggy. thumbs_up
I suppose time will tell if it's really going to function as advertised, ohwell but at least they got it all automated so they'll have fewer human mistakes to contend with... computer_punch All they need now is a tech to push buttons and a clean out crew on the weekends so I can see an incredible benefit.... yahoo
...for the shareholders not me

Oh, I don't know about all that stuff. I was just thinking if it was a good paint that would not fade, that would be a nice thing.

Sunshine is something else. We have a really nice Canadian flag that the BC Bolters sent us, which they signed. It's hanging in the window here. Only the bottom half gets the early morning sun, and those names are fading. frown

So, if they can get a paint that will standup to the sun, I say: progress!
