Just got my brand new 1964 Chevrolet longbed Fleetside home and the first project is to put wood on the pickup body floor. Nothing is there but the old metal strips that held the non existent boards. A lot of rattling and thrashing noises on the road.
I just got this home, drove it for 2 1/2 hours on the road with no problems and the truck drove beautifully. But I need to fix the 3 spd shifter and the rear body to use it.
A 1964 4wd K20 old truck and good frame will be delivered this week and we are starting to dismantle a 1977 K20 to start this project.

Start with MAR-K and then you will be able to refine some questions.
I have used MAR-K products (and many others have as well). I've checked and searched for detail discription on the bed flooring for a fleetside but I have discovered what I need to know. Thaks for the help.
I wanted to make a temporary bed and use the 2wd until I get the 4wd frame put together, then I will do a complete job on the body to mount on the new 4wd.
